Electron Beam Irradiator UELR 10-15S
Irradiator UERL-10-15S belongs to LINAC series. The acceleration of electron is carried out by the high frequencies energy raised in resonators of accelerating structure ; Irradiated products are conveyed by a conveyer system. The output electrons have 10 MeV energy, the maximum current is 1,5 mA, the peak mean power is 15 kW which is equivalent to the capacity of a Co60 machine with the radioactivity of 1.2 MCi.
Electron beam irradiation system UERL 10-15S is specially designed for food irradiation with E-beam energy from 5 MeV to 10 MeV, adjustable power from 5 -20 kW and X-ray conversion system to suit the irradiation of fresh fruits.
